What we aim for
We build towards WCAG 2.2 level AA. That is a target we test against, not a certification we claim.
What is in place
- A skip link to the main content, and headings in a meaningful order.
- A keyboard-operable menu, with a visible focus outline on every control.
- Body and heading text chosen to meet the AA contrast target; not every combination has been independently audited.
- Descriptive alternative text on photographs, and captions where they are given.
- Layouts that reflow down to a narrow phone without sideways scrolling.
- Motion is kept to short fades, and is switched off when your device asks for reduced motion. No audio or video plays by itself.
Known limitations
- Some club services, such as sign-in, event registration and the store, are provided by the club's membership system. We cannot control the accessibility of those pages.
- Documents supplied to us as PDFs may not be fully accessible. Ask us and we will provide the content another way.
- A full independent accessibility audit has not been carried out.
