Membership

Join Us!

Membership of Lowcountry Hunt is by invitation, approved by the Masters or the Board. Invitations go out each spring, and invited members are asked to complete their membership and pay by the end of July. Existing members use Member Access to reach their account and renewal.

Prospective Members

How Membership Works

Membership is not open enrollment and cannot be started by paying online. New members are invited once the Masters or the Board have approved them.

  • Write to the Hunt to introduce yourself.
  • The Hunt will explain any visiting or introduction steps that apply to you.
  • Invitations are sent each spring; invited members complete membership and pay by the end of July.

If you have been invited, your invitation tells you how to complete your membership in the club's own system.

Your Account

Members sign in to the club's membership system to view their account, renew, and reach member-only resources such as the fixture card.

This website does not hold a second set of member credentials, and it never shows your membership details.

Dues and Season

The club's membership levels and prices are held in its own membership system, and their approved public values have not been supplied for this website. Rather than publish a figure we cannot verify, we ask you to request the current schedule from the Hunt at lowcountryhunt@gmail.com.

How to Get Involved

There is more to the Hunt than hunting days, and several of these are open to people who do not ride at all. If you are non-riding, you can attend and follow the Hunt on our Tally-Ho Wagon. Write to the Hunt and tell us which interests you.

  • Volunteer

Hunter paces, hunt weekends and social events all run on members and friends who lend a hand on the day.

  • Hound Walks

Walking out with the pack out of season is the easiest way to get to know the hounds and the people.

  • Kennel Days

Time at the kennels with the hounds and puppies, a long-standing part of the junior program and open to others by arrangement.

  • Events

Paces, meets and club gatherings through the year. Many are open to guests as well as members.

  • Social Membership

For those who want the company and the occasions without hunting. Ask the Hunt what is available this season.

  • Juniors

Young riders learn the country, the hounds and the courtesies of the field alongside the rest of us.
